Great location very close to the railway station with good restaurants around. Very pet friendly hotel with no extra charge. Breakfast with a lovely view of the garden was really good. Staff was really helpful.
For us it was ideal.

Good location, quite decent breakfast, friendly staff.
You get the room which you did not order (twin vs. double). Internet is free but works dramatically. No lift, some rooms are on 3rd floor.

We spent seven nights at the hotel and everything about our experience was positive. The staff was friendly, efficient, attentive and helpful; the room was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished, and very quiet; the location was convenient for our needs; the breakfasts were delicious and the breakfast room pleasant. We couldn't have been more pleased and without question would stay at the Friederike again.

The staff was hella friendly and hooked us up with all the deets on the best places to party. The rooms were dope, comfy AF and clean. And let me tell you, the breakfast was straight fire, perfect fuel for our turn up adventures. Plus, the hotel is clutch located near Golf Club Muelheim an der Ruhr and Sportpark Duisburg, so we got our game on. Highly recommend!
The only thing we wished for was a lit party scene at the hotel. It would've been vibes if they had a kick-ass bar or a sick rooftop hangout spot.

Breakfast was poor just like the attitude of the staff. We booked for a room with gardenview and bathtub but they tried to put us at first in some kind of cellarroom wittout any view. The room they finally gave us had no bath.....

great duplex with fantastic garden views. breakfast room also had good views
a good development would be the installation of air-con as during our visit it was very warm

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of pastries, meats, eggs, and more. the hotel's location was also ideal - just a short walk away from the city center and train station, with a tram stop conveniently located right outside. We also appreciated the pet-friendly policy and the vintage furnishings in the rooms.
The WiFi signal in our room was weak and kept dropping. This made it difficult to stay connected and get work done.

quality of the staff and the room, free Internet
no lift, my room was at the second floor and with two luggages it was slightly hard, and no frigo bar (in my room at least)

This hotel is located in the center of town, very close to the railway station. the room and bathroom are well maintained and clean. the service provided by the staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast choices are excellent, with breads, meats, cheeses, yogurts, and cereals options. the room has a good view overlooking the garden, with comfortable and cozy furniture.
The stairs to go up to the room are narrow and steep, and elderly people might have a bit of a challenge climbing them.

The room was larger than expected and very clean and well equipped if I were to revisit I would book this hotel again.Breakfast was plenty and a good variety, staff were helpful and friendly and the room was kept very clean.
If I had to find fault, then it would be the step in the room, other wise perfect

Very quiet, pleasant room, courteous staff, more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel imo.

Enjoyed a romantic escape to this hotel and was impressed with the lovely big rooms and the delicious breakfast. The staff were friendly and efficient, making sure our room was ready when we arrived. The location was perfect for day trips and exploring nearby attractions. The highlight for us was the balcony overlooking the garden, providing a peaceful and private space to relax.
Having to carry our luggage up the stairs as there was no lift. However, it was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall enjoyable experience.

Location was ideal for our visit. Breakfast was very good. Rooms large and comfortable.
Could have done with tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Having the bar open later would be better.

Central location, nice staff, very comfortable bed and great breakfast.
No aircon in the rooms... it was very hot outside and we were lucky not to have a room under the roof!
